MERRYULA DEMENTIA WING
Merryula Dementia Wing is the newest addition to our diverse range of residential options at Cooinda. It provides a calming, restful and secure home-like environment for up to 16 residents living with dementia. Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers are available 24 hours a day.
Merryula features large and comfortable single rooms with ensuite, electric beds, heating/cooling, built-in robes, bedside tables and fabric-covered chairs. Shared facilities include a large combined lounge with large screen TV, dining area and two separate sun rooms. Residents are encouraged to participate in the enjoyment of daily living, with access to a covered outdoor area with BBQ facilities, dining and two secure garden areas, including a men’s shed, bird aviary and chook yard.
