COOINDA GREVILLEA WING (Previously known as the Nursing Home)
Cooinda Grevillea Wing has the capacity to provide care for up to 25 consumers who require permanent or respite care. It is staffed by Registered Nurses and personal care workers 24/7. Cooinda is well-known for providing exceptional palliative care with a strong focus on consumer choice and decision-making. Families and friends are encouraged to remain involved in all aspects of their loved one’s care.
Cooinda Grevillea Wing has a newly built wing of modern single rooms with ensuite. All rooms contain an electric bed, heating/cooling, large built-in robes, bedside tables, cabinet, chairs and large screen smart TVs. Shared facilities include a large lounge area with full screen smart TV, combined with a dining room. There is also a generous sitting area where families and friends can make themselves a cuppa and enjoy time visiting their loved ones. Residents have access to a verandah that is partially gauzed and leads on to a courtyard. We also have an activities room/library where our consumers can meet and enjoy the activities organised by our leisure and lifestyle team.
